The Cleveland Office of the FBI and the Lakewood Police Department are offering a $10,000 reward for information regarding the attempted robbery and assault of two citizens occurring on April 28, 2007 in the 2000 block of Wyandotte Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio.

At approximately 3:00am, two unknown black males approached a vehicle occupied by an off-duty FBI agent and another individual stopped in the 2000 block of Wyandotte Avenue. One of the robbers opened the passenger door of the vehicle and made a demand. The vehicle driven by the agent sped off at which time the robber shot the agent in the chest. The agent was able to drive himself to a local hospital were he received treatment for a single gunshot wound.

Witnesses to the incident described one of the black males as being in his 20s and approximately 5'8" tall. The two robbers were possibly seen driving off in a blue or black minivan.
