ARKANSAS FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

 

C. Frank Figliuzzi, Special Agent in Charge of the Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI), for the Northern District of Ohio, announced the arrest of Kenneth Lawshea, age 44, of Blytheville, Arkansas on September 20, 2007.  Lawshea was wanted on a Homicide warrant by the Blytheville Police Department. 

Lawshea was arrested at a residence on Continental Street in the City of Cleveland by the Cleveland/Cuyahoga  Fugitive/Gang Task Force(CCFGTF).  The CCFGTF, consisting of members of the FBI, Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department, Cleveland Division of Police, Ohio Adult Parole Authority and CMHA, is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape/sexual assault, felonious assault and arson.

Lawshea is presently in the custody of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department to await extradition by Arkansas authorities.
